SALES COORDINATOR
The right person for the job will be a recent college graduate or motivated professional looking for an opportunity with a global company that is a leader in the fresh produce industry.
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and documents within the Trading Department according to the needs of the Trading Staff.
Primary duties will include but are not limited to:
- Inventory Management in Multiple Warehouses
- Vendor Management
- Logistical support with scheduling and tracking of truck and air shipments
- Organize and manage all necessary documentation
- Assisting customer needs in a respectful and efficient manner
- Ability to produce and interpret all sales analysis functions
- Order entry and tracking of shipments
- Assisting sales department as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in the food industry preferred
- College Degree preferred
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures.
- Knowledge of logistics, delivery processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of perishable items.
- Excellent communication skills; oral and written. Problem solving skills
- Previous experience in a fast paced office environment
- Strong ability to multi-task and handle time sensitive projects
- Handling phones in a professional manner
- MS Office applications (advanced in Word and Excel)
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized with the ability to problem solve and work independently
